About ME

Growing up in an affluent suburb of Los Angeles, California, Ray Corona had a promising future with huge aspirations, until the day came where one decision would ultimately derail his dreams and take him on a 19-year nightmare battling a drug and alcohol addiction that destroyed every relationship and deprived him of all happiness and success.

At 39 years old, Ray hit rock bottom and decided to do something different in hopes of getting a different result. October 2nd, 2005, was the day Ray decided to stop the insanity and has been sober ever since.  

Ray now lives in Texas with his wife, daughter, and son, never forgetting his 19-year experience and how fortunate he is to have another chance at life. Ray’s passion is helping others discover a stronger version of themselves and that is why he created the Pure Uncut Recovery Podcast so that others may also recover by listening to powerful recovery stories of those who have lived through the madness and have found the drive and determination to overcome and persevere and are now on the road to a happier and brighter future.
